In this program, self-employed persons allow people who wish to be self-employed to immigrate to Canada permanently and have relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics moreover willing and have the ability to contribute significantly to cultural or athletic life of Canada.
To qualify under this category you are required to have relevant experience and be willing and capable to become self-employed in Canada and meet any program related selection criteria and requirements on the basis of medical, security or any condition.
Relevant Experience is toned according to the times that you have taken part at a world class level in various cultural activities or athletics or in cultural activities being a self employed person. 2 years of mandatory years of experience is a must, between the last 5 years before the day you apply till the day an application decision is made. With 3, 4 or 5 years of experience you can receive more points on your application.
Selection Criteria is assessed on the selection criteria of experience, education, age, language abilities and adaptability. Last, your medical, security checks and other requirements also matter as you and your family members must undergo a medical exam and procure a police certificate. Having enough money to support yourself and your family after getting to Canada is also a compulsory requirement.
