Quebec

Quebec is the largest province in area and the second largest in its population after Ontario which is located in eastern Canada with largely French-speaking society. While Montreal is the largest city, the capital is Quebec City.

Quebec is known for its rich history and culture derived from the French background. The Westminister system is the functioning of the Government of Quebec with its diversification as liberal democracy and a constitutional monarchy. This province of Canada is the only francophone majority province. Quebec is also home to many natural wonders, including the Laurentian Mountains and St.Lawrence River. Its economy is boosted by aeronautics, hydroelectricity, mining, pharmaceuticals and more. Interestingly, maple syrup is largely produced in Quebec and Canada’s most popular sport Hockey is played mostly here.
